Hi, I'm an animator / motion graphics designer looking for the opportunity to meet Brisbane VJ's and check out the scene. I'd love to tag along at a gig, maybe help out a little... help you guard your gear and set / pack up and entertain groupies :Smoking: haha. In return, I'm offering a few free animations customised to your requests. I've never actually seen a VJ perform live (although I've been watching and getting involved in this online scene for a little over a year) so would love the opportunity to get in there and experience it. This is a long term request, so if you are reading this way down the track after I have posted, please do still get in touch.

Well if you're at the BDO this weekend I'm doing the Hot House from 4pm, I don't think there is much chance of coming backstage they are pretty strict about that stuff but the stage is so small this year you may be able to see what's going on. I was thinking of sticking on a VJ night up in Brisbane in the future, so send me your details.

Hey Morph, haven't had a chance to see them yet, their gear got held up in customs so everyone is running around trying to find replacements atm.

MR here is the set times if you are coming along:

    7:30 - Doors open
    8:00 - 8:05 - Tokyo Ghetto Ghetto
    8:10 – 8:35 - This Winter (25 minutes) / VJ Baz
    8:50 – 9:15 - The Mercy Dolls (25 minutes) / VJ Richard
    9:30 – 9:55 - DizzyGotheca (25 minutes) / VJ Baz
    10:05 – 10:35 - Lowkey + Nude (30 minutes) / VJ Richard
    10:45 – 11:00 - Namco Disco - choreography by Claire Marshall
    11:15 – 11:50 - Angelspit (35 minutes) / VJ Richard
    12:00 - 12:30 Ponyloaf (30 minutes) / VJ Richard
    12:40 – 1:00 - Errorhythm (20 minutes) / VJ Baz
    1:10 – 1:30 - Replikant (20 minute set) / Visuals Kraig
    1:30 – 2:00 - DJ DestroyX
    2:00 – 3:00 - DJ Tre
    3:00 – 4:00 - DJ Kristine

Feel free to come up and say Hi. You could probably have a play too if you want, later after Replikant.. I'm running some new gear, a V4 and some live cameras too so it should be an interesting road test.

I'm heading off to check out the venue now, SOOB only took the building over yesterday so we have no idea about the space or where/if we can project, God help us.

Hey Richard, was going to come along tonight but had a big day yesterday so going to have to take a rain check. Went to the races, and on the way back dropped into Barsoma in the valley to catch up with Reeditchaos and his crew. Was good to finally see some actual live vjing, thx guys!

Richard if you are doing any gigs in the near future let me know and I'll make some time to catch up with you. Again, thx for your offer. I would have loved to check out the performance tonight but I have to catch up on a lot of work before friday.
