There's much talk about the BEST codec for VJing,
    but which is the WORST?

What I mean is - at low quality settings, the strange "artifacts" that appear can be interesting (after FX intensify them) especially those with weird pixelation

So which would you say, video experts?

hmmm.....you might try turning settings in cinepak waaay down...low low datarate, low % quality?
otherwise theres the 8bit FLI format too.

My vote would have to be with MPEG-4 and it's varients.. they use temporal compression (bad for scrubbing) and they are fairly difficult to decompress. Plus some of the crummier MPEG-4's are known to be very artifacty.

Why not do what you normal avoid: Compress/Uncompress several times with the codec of your choice.
    Cool Idea 8)
